Dr. Tina Yang is a board-certified pediatrician. She spent the first few years of her childhood in China, before moving to the United States with her family and settling in Houston, Texas. She then went to Washington University in St. Louis for her undergraduate studies, before returning to Texas for medical school at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed her pediatrics residency at UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

After graduating residency, she worked as an outpatient pediatrician with Cleveland Clinic Children’s before moving to San Diego. She is passionate about patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine. She is excited to build meaningful relationships with the families she will meet as a pediatrician with Perlman Pediatrics.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family, including her husband and two cats.
